The Apple TV does not appear on my iPhone

Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network, and LumaSlide has to be open on the Apple TV. On first launch, allow LumaSlide access to the local network when iOS asks. If the device still does not show up, close and reopen the app on both ends.

Which photos does LumaSlide show?

LumaSlide reads the albums of the photo library on the device it runs on. Choose an album, and the slideshow plays its photos and videos in full native resolution. Turn on Favorites Only to limit playback to the photos you marked.

Can I control the framing from my phone?

Yes. In the Remote tab, pinch and drag the preview. With Smooth Zoom enabled, the Apple TV glides to the new framing once you lift your fingers. Double-tap resets the zoom.

Where do the place names come from?

They are resolved from the GPS data stored in your photos using Apple's geocoding service, and cached on your device. You can override any place name yourself under Places.
